Time permitting, the tournament will be a Round Robin followed by a Single Elimination amongst the top four players (for each division). The Round Robin matches will be best two of three games, each game to twelve points or 30-innings (equal innings if called on innings). Single Elimination matches will best two of three games, each game to twelve points or 30-innings (equal innings if called on innings).
Tournament Rules and Regulations, and the rules on 3 Cushion Billiards, will apply to this tournament.
This tournament is open to NMT students, faculty, staff, and affiliates. This tournament will be handicapped if cross-division play is required (unhandicapped within division).

There must be at least 6 entries for a division to run. Each division will be limited to 16 players. If there are more than 16 entries the Tournament Director (TD) will take those signed up first (the remaining entries may start as an alternate if a starter doesn't start their first match).
If divisions are merged: a "B" player playing an "A" player would only need 8 points to win in a game to 12; a "C" player would only need 5 points against an "A" player ("C" starts at 7 and "B" starts at 4).
Participants are expected to know the rules for carom billiards, the general rules of billiards, and the rules and regulations governing tournament play. The player chair rule will be enforced. During a match the referee will be the only person allowed to handle the balls.
Entry deadline Monday February 18 at 6:30pm. The schedule for the tournament will be posted shortly thereafter.
Choice of opening shot for the set will be established by lag before the first game. Subsequent games of the set will alternate opening shot.
