The tables below show possible starting scores for regular, alternate, or additional (i.e. non-challenge) matches.   The player with the higher LBPI will start negative.

The minimum LBPI (0.500) is used for all players (in non-challenge matches) whose LBPI is below the minimum LBPI.

  1. 40 point matches.

  2. 50 point matches.

  3. 70 point matches.

  4. 75 point matches.

  5. 100 point matches.

  6. 125 point matches.

  7. 150 point matches.

The tables above will give BAD HANDICAPs if used for Challenge matches as the derating factor can not be properly applied.   See the Challenge section under Types of Matches for details on derating.

To get CORRECT spots for CHALLENGE MATCHES it is best to click on the word positions after the challenger's name (under the listing of people with challenge positions). NOTE: The challenge spots are for 70-point matches.
