14.1 Spotting Tables for
Cue ball and 15th ball.




The three tables below will help you determine where the CUE ball and 15th ball are to be placed should either interfere with racking the balls for the next rack.

A ball is considered to interfere with racking the balls when either of the following is true.

  1. Any part of a ball is within the rack area defined by a line drawn (on the cloth) around a properly placed triangle,
  2. Careful placing or removal of the rack causes a ball outside the rack area to move.
